Anyone  ever tell you about this nifty little app called “Evernote”?  Ever used it? I was lucky enough to stumble across another paper crafting lady that was describing how she used this handy dandy little app to put together a searchable database of every single stamp set she owns!!  Too good to be true.  Right?  SO. NOT. RIGHT. I couldn’t help myself.  I had to look.  So I found the app online, and just followed the directions.  After many hours, ta da!!! Brand new searchable database for ALL of my stamp sets.  This is what the finished product looks like:

Evernote ScreenshotTake a look above the photo of the stamp set.  In the grey area you’ll see that I typed in all of the text that is within the stamp set.  Right above the grey area you can see all those little blue boxes with words in them.  Those are tags.  And every word in the grey area, and every tag is searchable.  I LOVE IT!!!  And it gets even better – you can download the app right to your desktop, where it functions much more smoothly, and then it syncs to the online files.  This means you can access it ANYWHERE!!!

If you are interested in finding out more about the whole process, just leave me a comment below, or email to [email protected]  In the meantime, I think I’m going to go find a stamp 🙂

Until next time
