But one almost as important to me: Close To My HEART!
Because it’s a new year, I thought it was a good time to do some reflection, and I realized that I needed to make a few changes. A BIG one, is doing more creating. Just for me. Not that I don’t love creating projects for all of you. Because I love that. But when I create for myself, I can use what I want, go where I want, be what I want. And I don’t have to worry if something will still be in stock, how long it’s going to take me to re-create something 13 times, and so on. I think you all know what I’m talking about (wink wink). And while I was having this epiphany, it occurred to me, that even when I’m creating for me, I tend to gravitate towards what I know and love the best; Close To My Heart!
This all led me to think (no wonder I have a headache) “Hey! Maybe this is something worth sharing! Who knows? I could be onto something BIG! So I created a Facebook Group called: My Heart – Day to Day It’s a private group (at least for now) and you have to ask to join. I’m not sure yet exactly how it’s going to go. I do know that I will post something at least once a month. AND I WANT YOU TO POST THINGS TOO! Mostly, my posts will be about how I make use of my CTMH product around the house, and with other types of personal things (for example, calendars & planners).
Here’s what I’d like you to do: 1. Go to Facebook and ask to join My Heart – Day to Day 2. Say hello and let everyone (full disclosure: it’s just me right now) know who you are! 3. Start looking around your house and thinking about ways that you have made or might make use of paper crafting product in ways other than scrapbooks or albums (CTMH or any other brand). 4. Look for my first post, coming sometime this week.
This is going to be so much fun!
