Workshop Details

This colorful layout is an excellent example that showcases our cardstock beautifully, starting with the dramatic diagonal rainbow spanning the base page. The subtle gradations between shades in the rainbow arise from the two-toned feature of our colored cardstocks. Each sheet of cardstock packs two shades, with the true shade on one side and a lighter version on the opposite. This page makes full use of this feature to create the incredible effect you see here! Cutting two paper strips from the same sheet and then placing them beside each other with different sides showing, helps the shades blend together across the page.

Supply List

I’m using Close To My Heart supplies. Feel free to substitute what you have in your stash! I’ve given you links to many of the products so you can see what I’ll be working with:

• 1 sheet – White Daisy cardstock cut to 11 x 11″
• 1 piece – White Daisy cardstock cut to 6 1/2 x 6 1/2″
• 1 scrap piece of White Daisy cardstock for stamping title
• 1 full sheet – Mist cardstock – Light Side (LS)
• 2 pieces – Mist cardstock (LS): one cut to 4 1/4 x 6 1/4″ and one cut to 6 3/4 x 6 3/4″
• scraps of cardstock 12″ long. Here is what I used:
  • one 1/2″ strip each of Ballerina, Raspberry, Grape, Seabrook, Lagoon, Clover, Green Apple, Lemonade, Sundance, Melon, Candy Apple (all LS)
  • one 1/4″ strip each of all the colours listed above.(Dark Side)
• 1 pkg of Cardstock Carnival die cut sheets
• Alphabet stamp sets: Celebration Alphabet E1067, Cassidy Alphabet B1729
• Stamp Set: In This Together CC2215 (retired)
