Card Making Classes
I hold at least one card-making class a month. Often they are held on either an afternoon or an evening time slot (you choose) one day during the week. Some are scheduled for weekday mornings and special workshops that require more time are held on the weekend.
These classes are open to all levels of paper crafters. Sometimes they are themed classes (e.g. Christmas, spring, etc.), sometimes it’s a variety. Sometimes we’ll focus on using one stamp set or paper collection.
Cost varies greatly. Usually they are $15 to $20. Some are on a “per card” basis.
Every month I offer a paper crafting technique class. It’s usually held on a Tuesday, and you have the option of choosing an afternoon or evening time slot.
These classes do not cover basics like fussy cutting, using a paper trimmer or basic stamping, so are geared more for an Intermediate level paper crafter. We work on cards and/or scrapbook layouts focusing on the chosen technique. You always have samples and cheat sheets to take home with you, along with two finished projects! The featured image shows samples of two cards created for our “Working with Vellum” Technique Tuesday.
Cost for most technique classes is $25.00. Occasionally, there is an additional $5.00 materials fee.
Everything is cut and ready for you to assemble when you arrive!
These workshops usually occur weekday afternoons or evenings (you choose), and can go over more than one night. Occasionally, depending on the type of project, these workshops will be offered as a one-day, retreat type of event with lunch included.
Prices vary greatly, as the workshops can include layouts from one to five two-page layouts, and often make use of Cricut cuts and other embellishments for added dimension. Typically they are between $45.00 and $65.00, although there are exceptions. You bring your adhesives and tools.
