This month’s challenge (hand-picked by Nancy!) is to create a paper project using the “Confetti Wishes” paper pack, which you can find in the current Annual Expressions Book.
Here are some other supplies that coordinate perfectly with the Confetti Wishes Paper Pack (X7189B)!
Exclusive Inks Stamp Pads: Thistle(Z2640), Pacifica (Z2192), Canary (Z2643)
My Acrylix Stamp Set: Puppy Party (B1464)
Cricut Artbooking Collection (Z1906)
Confetti Wishes Complements (X7189C)
Confetti Wishes Assortment (Z2044)

If you came from Kim Loewen‘s blog then you’re in the right place, this is a circular blog hop so you can start anywhere! Just in case you got lost, the full list is at the end of this post. So, as always, grab your coffee, tea or water, relax, and hop around the team with us!
For this layout I combined some of the ideas from the Confetti Wishes WOTG Main layout, and a layout idea that my friend, Chris, found on Pinterest. The original idea used leaves as a background to tie the flowers together, but I thought that would make the corners look too busy, so I used a bit of ribbon in the bottom left corner only. To save paper, except for the Daisy White photo mats, all papers are fit together. There is no overlap. The “journaling tags” that you see peeking out from behind the left hand photo are faux tags! If you wanted to make them real tags, it would be very easy to do that. The string of banners along the bottom was a lot of fun to create! I randomly picked a few to pop up, just to add a bit of dimension. You could very easily accommodate four vertical photos, rather than two vertical and two horizontal. Unfortunately, I have not had time to go looking for photos for this layout!!
List of materials/supplies used in this project:
- Confetti Wishes Workshop on the Go (G1086) – B & T Duos, stamp set, gold shimmer trim and assortment
- Exclusive Inks Pads: Pacifica(Z2192), Thistle(Z2640), Canary (Z2643), Pear (Z2197)
- Card stock: Pacifica(X5759), Daisy White (1385), Canary(X5772)
- Thistle Diagonal Striped Ribbon (Z1990)
- Embellishments: Pink Glitter Gems (Z1807), Green & Blue Epoxy Bubbles (Z1806), flowers and brads from my stash.
Since this layout was for the ladies in my Monthly Scrapbooking Club, I also created a card using the Confetti Wishes paper pack, and the March Stamp of the Month: Choose Happy.
Online recently, I saw a card using a frame similar to this with ribbon running across the centre of the cardstock, and really liked the look of it! I trimmed the “celebrate” patterned paper so the text was somewhat centred, rather than using a piece of ribbon centred over the background cardstock. Then I used the ribbon instead to anchor the frame with a bow. So that it didn’t cover the “celebrate” too much, I put the frame and ribbon at a jaunty angle! The frame itself is coloured using our ShinHan alcohol markers. I just love these markers! They are so easy to use and have beautiful vibrant colour. I took a close up so you could see for yourself!
To finish things off, I added some Pink Glitter Gems.
